What is Budhagupta Stone?

Budhagupta was a Gupta emperor. 

He had close ties with the rulers of Kannauj kingdom and together they sought to rule the Huns out of the fertile plains of Northern India.

This is a replica of Buddhagupta stone ( the original one was found in Seberang Perai, Malaysia and is kept in the National Museum, Calcutta, India ) on display at the National History Museum, Kuala Lumpur. The inscription refers to the reign of Budhagupta and it is dated A.D. 484-485.
